That is not how a carpark behaves. #### What load management actually does It gives the chargers awareness. Of each other, and of the building they are attached to. When six vehicles plug in at once, the available capacity is shared between them. When the building's own demand rises at midday, the charging backs off and gives way. A vehicle that arrives at eight and leaves at five is connected for nine hours. Most of them need two or three. Even sharing capacity between six bays, every one of them is full long before anybody comes back for it. Everything else in the decision follows from that number. #### AC against DC, without the marketing AC chargers are simple, cheap, and slow in a way that usually does not matter.
